Synopsis

The story is about the women rebellion activities on the British colonial masters and warrant chiefs on the imposition of a tax to them. The women utilized protest techniques that were traditional and specific to their communities such as gathering at the homes of the warrant chiefs and officers in songs as they detailed their grievances against the rulership and also walking naked. Unfortunately, many women rioted and attacked chiefs destroying their homes causing the revolt to be marked as violet as they lose their lives and families. With much determination and perseverance, they are able to prevail.
